Warriors: Jayfeather

Hokay, so I wanted to do another warrior on my nails because...yay. I like several characters, but I decided I wanted to use my new silver pen. Jayfeather is the name of the grumpy blind medicine cat from ThunderClan.

The base is Orly's Close Your Eyes. The silver is Sally Hansen's silver pen. The black is my black stripper. The blue eyes are Vintage Vincent. I also wanted to try my hand at doing something on the other hand.

Warriors: Hawkfrost

I began reading Warriors again and I decided I wanted to do nails involving my favorite cats. I started with my favorite villain. This is Hawkfrost. He's insane and one of the main reasons I like the books. Even after he dies, he continues to be a primary source of evil. I can't draw cats all that well, but I think I did okay. I based his design off of this. The background is Logan, then my black stripper, then Rikki by Zoya for the leaves. The forest represents the The Place of No Stars, also called the Dark Forest. This is like kitty cat hell.

Black and White Splatter

Katolin and I were talking and she suggested doing Kaboom! by Salon Perfect on top of black. I was going to do it and then I got the idea to use Revlon's Graffiti top coat over alternating black and white nails. The white is Blanc by Essie and the black is Black Swift by Milani. For once, there is no Zoya, lol.

Snow Leopard

So, there is a story behind these! I got some new Sally Hansen nail art pens. I got silver and white. I really really wanted to try them out. I already had Mason by Zoya on my nails, so I did a few experimental lines. Then I decided I would do all my nails! This is the silver pen.

Tiptoe through the tulips

So, may years ago, I did a painting for my mother that included tulips on a green background. I did the same for my nails! The background is Apple by Zoya. The pink and pink white are actually acrylic paints. The stems are Logan by Zoya. I was very proud of these, but these were killed by the dog not too long afterwards.

Pokemon: Dragonair

My friend and I decided to do Pokemon nails a while ago. She did the entire grass starter set and I do one pokemon. I decided on Dragonair nails since I think the blue dragon thing is just adorable! I used Dream by Zoya for the other nails. Blu by Zoya is the base of the accent nail. The skin is Aqua by Sinful Colors. The white is Purity by Zoya. I think the eye is Mason by Zoya. I think I might do more Pokemon in the future!

Evil Eye Charm Nails

These are not my hands. These are my co-worker's nails. Marina is her name and she is a wonderful person. She saw my nail art and wanted some for herself! She is obsessed with the Evil Eye charms and wanted nails inspired by them. I used Zoya's Dream for the base, Essie's Blanc for the white, Zoya's Blu for the lighter blue and the very center is Zoya's Storm. She seemed very pleased with these and I like how they look too!
